PLANNING YOUR WEDDING DURING LOCKDOWN.

Planning your wedding is no easy task at the best of times, but planning during lockdown throws up a whole new set of problems. You can't try on your dress, meet with your suppliers, visit your venues - it must be a nightmare. However there are things you can do. Here's a couple of tips for planning your big day during lockdown.

USE SOCIAL MEDIA.

Instagram and Pinterest are amazing places for inspiration with everything from dresses to cutlery, cakes to transport to entertainment. Try searching for local suppliers and local venues as well as local hashtags. Remember to create boards on Pinterest and bookmark images on Instagram to help you find your favourite images to share with family and friends.
Facebook is a great resource for finding local suppliers and venues, for reading reviews and recommendations and for seeing photos of their latest work.
Its also a great way of keeping in touch with your bridal party, wedding party, family and friends and your suppliers.
Follow your local suppliers to keep up to date with their special offers and discounts.

BOOK SUPPLIERS.

With so many weddings being postponed from 2020 to 2021 and 2022, may suppliers have been booked up to cover all the postponed dates. If you have suppliers that you really want for your big day, then you should get them booked as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Whilst you may not be able to meet them in person, you can give them a call or maybe arrange a video meeting.

DIY
Check out Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration. You could save yourself some money if you get a bit creative and make your own table centres, place cards, invitations or favours....the list goes on and on.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
There's no getting away from the fact that planning you big day is a stressful and difficult time, but remember to take time for yourself and enjoy your planning.
Stay positive and look forward to what is going to be the best day of your life regardless of what changes you may have to make along the way.
